Speculate About The Future

Nobody knows the future for sure but in spite of this it is still possible to talk about it. Here is a post to help you speculate about the future.

Use prediction verbs followed by the future tense

I think environmental problems will be solved.

I predict that I’m going to work until I’m eighty.

Talk about the past in the future

To talk about the past in the future, use ‘will’ or ‘going to’ with ‘have’ and a verb participle.

I hope that by 2050 I’m going to have got rich.

This shows that I hope I’m rich before 2050.
