It was about the friction inside about trying to make things better in the classroom and in one&#8217;s own classroom. <a href=\"https:\/\/throwingbacktokens.wordpress.com\/2015\/10\/15\/i-want-to-tell-them\/\" target=\"_blank\">Hers is better and more concise<\/a>. Mine&#8217;s self indulgent but it&#8217;s my blog and I choose what goes up. Maybe you&#8217;ve had learners like mine.<\/i><br \/>\n<b>Nobody Dies<\/b><br \/>\nI want to tell them that nobody dies,<br \/>\n&#8220;Nobody dies,&#8221; I tell them;<br \/>\nEveryone laughs, nobody dies.<br \/>\nI want to tell them it&#8217;s OK to be shy,<br \/>\n&#8220;It&#8217;s OK to be shy.&#8221;<br \/>\nNobody speaks but nobody dies.<br \/>\nI want to tell them nobody cares,<br \/>\n&#8220;Nobody cares<br \/>\nAbout mistakes you make:<br \/>\nThey&#8217;re too busy worrying about their own.&#8221;<br \/>\nNobody&#8217;s scared but nobody dares so<br \/>\nNobody speaks but nobody dies.<br \/>\nI want to tell them nobody knows,<br \/>\n&#8220;Nobody knows the perfect way,<br \/>\nSo go ahead and try your own;<br \/>\nI&#8217;ll let you know about mine,<br \/>\nWhich you&#8217;re perfectly free to decline,<br \/>\nI won&#8217;t leave you to struggle alone.&#8221;<br \/>\nNobody knows who<br \/>\nSuddenly speaks but<br \/>\nSomebody dared<br \/>\nAlthough they were scared<br \/>\nAnd nobody cares<br \/>\nAnd actually<br \/>\nNobody dies.<\/p>\n","protected":false},"excerpt":{"rendered":"<p>On Josette Le Blanc&#8217;s blog yesterday she put up a post, in poetry, that really resonated.
