This blog is written by Marc Jones, who started this blog because most freelance teachers don’t get training and can fall into a rut and stop improving or start feeling that they have lost a bit of the vibrancy and vitality they used to feel about teaching. I have not been a full-time freelancer since 2018 but still dabble from time to time.
I hold MA Applied Linguistics and TESOL and MRes Humanities & Social Sciences from Portsmouth University, UK by distance learning and Trinity DipTESOL. I currently teach at two universities. I have worked in almost every context in Japan that you can imagine, and also an orthodontic clinic.
I am always interested in new opportunities and projects, especially those related to listening, pronunciation and Task-Based Language Teaching. To contact me you can email me here:
Am being daft and can’t find a button to follow your blog?!? 🙁
It’s usually on the main page and not on the subpages, I think. Try searching the URL in WordPress.
Got it!! 🙂
